PVR usage

I see. Mine's part of the cable box. So either way, you end up with a box. Ehh...

I have Time-Warner, so I don't know Comcast.

I guess the Cable Provider makes the difference.
T-W also gives me 5Mb broadband and digital phone (I don't subscribe to the phone service).

Basically, in the future, I'm looking for a TV that has everything in it: DVD-RW, Hard Drive (PVR), 7.1 Surround Sound, and the bi-directional cable card.
I believe it will happen. Pries will go down. You can get a DVD Player for $30 or $40 now.

I don't even know HOW ZDNet could have written that...
