Hmm, Kinda goes against my predictions
I predict that Televisions will morph into "Big Screens" i.e. commodity video devices. This would consist of just the screen, and the inputs (RCA,S-Video,DVI,DV,Component-Video) and would turn itself on when it detected a signal (no need for remote). This BigScreen would connect to a wide range of things, but one was a cablebox. The more items you put into the TV, the less it can be made into a commodity - thus HIGHER PRICES. Oh yes, the 3rd part of my trio was self-amplified, wireless speakers (another commodity). Of course WiMAX will destroy the cable industry by allowing streaming video via the internet - so my vision should still come true.

-- the WiMAX ***** - the steamroller is comming . . .
