It is not a choice of the developer whether his website is IE only or not, it is the developers TOOLS! If you use FrontPage to develop web sites, then the resultant code will be IE-specific - Duh uh! This is the Embrace (IE supports web standards!), Extend (Oh yeah, we made up some of our own "extensions"), and Extinguish (wow, EVERYBODY is using our development tools) strategy. I would hazzard a guess that ALL IE-only websites were created from M$ development tools.
