Workers to employers: Show me the time off

I suspect age and status have much to do with it.

If your say 18, I can see taking the time. Your still young enough play time is important. If you are say 25 with and your status changes to married with children, income means a whole lot more. Along about 50 or so the time off is looking real good again. By that time you have a nice boat, car, plane, ski lodge, or whatever toys you like and you want time to use them.

No, not everyone follows that generalization, but I'd say the majority do.
