Why didn't you posters catch...
The fact it's form factor and TV hook ups and built in DVD player option sure point at a "digital entertainment center" to me. Especially when you see the included software packages. The Radeon chip set (video) isn't the absolute latest and greatest, but it's more than capable of playing/recording TV at HDTV levels.

Oh yeah, you can bet that Apple has plans for this little fellow in the living room. And after the home run they had with the Ipod they just gotta go after more delivered entertainment. The TV/Video display is the next logical step.

Apple has a "sense" for what it takes to build a computer based consumer electronics product that has captured a wide user base with the Ipod, I'm betting they have carefully thought out how to make this next step. Here's hoping they do it right.
