Voska, that's why this isn't for you
This isn't about having lots and lots of music at your command at once, or taking it on days long car trips. It's a small device, for short periods of listening. If you're really fickle, I guess you could always set up your playlists on your computer every time you were going to use the player. Or just bite the bullet and buy a hard drive based player, which sounds better for your needs.
