Or perhaps Apple is doing this to smoke out a mole?
They have no intention of harming Think Secret but will put
pressure on Think to find out who in their own company is
leaking information to the press. In the end Think Secret will
not be sued so much as threatened with Apple's lawyer stick.

I tend to doubt it's a PR thing just because it sounds soooo very
stupid. I do agree it might be Jobs control freak thing coming to
the surface again some more..but I also think it could just be an
attempt to get at a mole.
