Scandals draw attention = dirty boost of sales.
It works when you are in the minority and want to be the majority.

Why does it works? Because the majority has certain psychological shortcomings = unrestricted access to subconsciousness = the master can control behaviors/wishes of people and directs them to his purpose (if he knows how to do it).

Hitler was informed about this tactic ? LOW-COST highly effective advertisement by scandals and used it very successfully.

Back to Apple.

Many people do not understand that the real cost of a new headless iMac is not $500. They have to spend an additional $500 for extra RAM to make the performance of the headless iMac somehow matching with a sub-$500 PC.

That means that the new-coming headless iMac is twice more expensive than an equal PC.

P.S. Any out-of-the-box Mac with 256 MB RAM is TOO slow vs. an equal out-of-the-box PC (Windows 2000).

http://www.macaddict.com/issues/0312/rev.g5.html

?Even the processing of a 25MB file benefited from more RAM?in fact, a small bump-up to 1GB RAM caused our test Action to complete its work in about one-third the time it took when confined to the stock 512MB.?

P.S. As a compensation for Apple?s fault ? Mac OS X has poor ability to handle the memory - Apple has to sell new headless iMacs with 1 GB RAM for the SAME price - $500 ... But Apple will never do it until the appropriate lawsuit will be filed.

Thus, Apple?s secret motto is Greed Before Common Sense. Now it?s time to Think Different than Steve Jobs wants you to think ... Can you?

Silence of honest people is the main reason of why corporations/government abuse their power. Keep silence if you want to be a slave.
