Apple is right. Besides; why defend a crook?

Apple tried to do this fairly, in my opinion. They contacted "Stink Secrets (er Think Secrets) several times to remove the content and hand over the culprit. I?m not sure I would hand over someone to Apple; but ignoring Apple to remove content is wrong no matter what. Remember the person that passed secret information broke laws. If you want to protect someone who signs an agreement promising to keep your secrets, and then turns around and gives them out anyway; then I feel sorry for you.

The problem with your statement is you want to separate Apple from other corporation?s rights. You feel that Apple should be some sort of open, ?glass house?; not a company struggling to stay alive with extremely stiff competition. Remember the Microsoft's of the world are listening to every word coming out of Apple and other companies to get their chance to beat them to market with the next wiz-band product. This is a no-holds barred world we live in and any company would love to take down a competitor; Apple included.

I've said this before; but what if this wasn't Apple. What if this was McDonald-Douglas and what are leaked are trade secrets regarding our next military jet fighter (assuming you are from the USA)? What if it was secrets about making bombs? Would you want terrorists finding out how to build it? What about enemies? Apple has enemies as well. They usually don't start wars, but could be dangerous enough to put Apple out of business.

The law is not biased on this point. The law doesn?t care if the secret is protecting the country, military, Government or some mom and pop business. The law is the law.
