It's a catch22 for Apple
I personally am one who keeps up on the rumors and latest
tech talk on my two loves, Apple and Subarus and both
companies act fairly similar in many ways and are both very
secretive. However, you know when something is generally
a fairly solid rumor, when legal action is taken against it to
cover it up. Nothing solidifies it as much as things like
that. They would be much better off if they didn't say
anything and left everyone wondering to confirm/deny the
validity on their own, the word is only as good as Apple
makes it be.

Rumors are great though, it spurs excitement, yes there is
always some letdowns because some people put all their
hope on certain items, but it's much more than that. Like
someone noted, it gives you something to save up for and
look forward to.

The headless Mac I think would make the perfect home
server. Hook up a few firewire drives to it and you're really
golden! I'd love one for a media server, but for others, it
makes perfect sense for a low-buck starter when you
already have a good display and speakers. I've really liked
the idea since the days of the Cube, perhaps in a way this is
the return of the Cube, but in a smaller format that's
sleeker and easier to hide.
