My point is this is not a DRM problem!. If you buy an Xbox the games do not work on a PS2 or Sega. If you bought a BetaMAX VCR the tapes do not work on a VHS. I'll bet you are hard pressed to find any device that reads your 8 tracks.

The manufacturer has always held all the cards. The consumer must make informed choices. It is the way of the world of technology. What I find incredible is that in your past posts you are a huge backer of Apple who is probably the worlds biggest backer of proprietary lock in.
