- This was based on theconcept that I did purchase the content.

However the reason I make copies in the first place is to cover
myself in case the content was damaged and or stolen. Now
your example points to an increadible world where the consumer
is stripped of his/her power to make choices and funneled into a
world where the manufacturer holds all the cards. NICE!
If as a consumer I make an alternative choice I the consumer is
made to waiste my valuable time by repeating the copy effort.
Sheeeezzzz could this get any more user unfriendly!?!
