Home Invasion is Right
Where do they stop. Like the previous post I too agree that DRM and copy protection technology is oversteping its reported purpose. I believe that most people are legally purchasing their music and videos and have no desire to rip off the artist or distributers. There are a few pirates out there who do but you cannot build a protection policy based on those few without alienating your market. I want to be able to purchase music and videos that play on any machine I own not just some industry sanctioned piece of equipment. That dictatorship mentality will only push people away from those products and brands that employ it. Go after the crooks don't make every consumer who wants a backup a criminal.
