"If they place restrictions on the use of THEIR PROPERTY, that is their right."
Once I purchase it then it's my property not theirs so they can make no restrictions on how I use my property. The only ones who can restrict how I use my property is government. Government can and does make laws doing just that. Government restricts how I use my car, how I use guns, and what do with my home for example. Government also restricts what I can do with content I own but do not have the copyrights to. The copyright holder does not have any power to dictate restrictions.
