Ah, so *you* want *your* IP protected, but not the other guys. In this case the promoter that invested all the time, money and effort. Tell me, how does infringing copyrighted works put even a penny in the "artists" hands? How does it pay the electrician, the studio engineer, the janitor that cleans up, the delivery truck driver, the record store owner, or any of the people involved with the process of "promotion"?

But it's a changing world you claim? Fine, let it change if that is really what the market wants, but stealing from the "promoter" and then saying his business model is wrong is something only a crook would say...
