---Country music is horrible.---

I think that's a bit of an overstatement. Country, like Rock, Rap, Metal, etc., is about 97% crap, but if you can find that 3%, it's superb. The new Loretta Lynn album that she did with Jack White from the White Stripes is superb for example. Heck, I'd even consider a lot of Bob Dylan's best stuff as Country music.
