I don't know about Sirius, but, I wasn't impressed with XM

I got a 3 month 'free' subscription to XM when I bought my truck last summer. I started listening to the 'Decades' channels (50's and 60's). What I found was the the DJs frequently talked over the beginning of songs and rambled on excessively between songs. If I wanted to hear someone talk, I'd listen to talk shows, what I want to hear is music. While they don't have 'commercials', they were constantly plugging their own stuff, which is really a commercial anyway. In a nutshell, it wasn't any different than listening to an FM station ... except that I don't have a monthly fee to listen to FM.

The only benefit that I could see was that on long trips, I didn't have to constantly look for a new station when the one I was listening to faded. But, my truck also has a 6 CD changer so that's really not a problem anyway.

Needless to say, I didn't subscribe.
