Confusion over invention and innovation
People often confuse the two. Invention is not innovation nor is it the reverse. The two entirely differnt.

Innovation is taking something already invented and putting it to use in an "innovative" fashion. Apple does that in spades and even Microsoft has had some success there but it took many attempts.
