Yeah my iMac G5 1.8 ghz with the 20" display is NO
better than the tower G4 that I could have gotten 5 years ago!
Damn the luck....errr waite a minute not only is my iMac G5
much faster and only a prosumer computer than the proffesional
G4 tower I purchased 5 years ago, but it comes with a 20" flat
screen that I don't hink I could have gotten or at least afforded 5
years ago and BONUS it is way COOLER! So I guess you are
incorrect.

Now I dodn't think Apple is claiming what you seem to think she
is. Apple's creativeing in the iTunes/iPod casee is bringing
many existing technologies into a smooth interfact and sprucing
up the hardware to be well functional and way cool. Apple did
not to my knowledge claim to have invented anything...just had
the vision to bring it all together. After all she did purchase
Soundjam. And she is part owner and developer of the PowerPC
right along with IBM and Moto.
