Wow - Apple claiming to 'invent' others' technology. The Toshiba I-Pod, IBM processors, AMD's HyperTransport, and SoundJam (whoops I-Tunes). Sounds like a company that can't innovate anymore and knows it. This isn't the first shamefully reckless patent they've applied for either. Maybe they should finally return to an emphasis on making better computers - they haven't done that for at least five years now...
