Oh, but there will be
If Apple subpoenas the rumor sites, and they refuse to turn over the identities of leakers, then those sites will be held in contempt of court or sued by Apple directly.

This is the big danger to smaller, independent media outlets like these sites. They may lack the will or the means to hold out against a court order. And if they give in, what leaker will ever trust them with information in the future?
