Owning an BMW doesn't make you a better driver.---

A better driver? No. But like my Apple to your Windows machine, I can get where I'm going a lot faster, a lot safer, and I'll enjoy the ride more.

If you're willing to settle for less, good for you. If you'd rather spend your money elsewhere, good for you. Me, I use my computer 8-10 hours a day, 5 days a week. For something playing that large of a role, I want the best.
