Houston we have a Mac fanatic.
First of all Geek Speak is empty words when one need to pay the bills and rent. Many of us want a BMW but are mature enough to know we and only afford a Kia or a used Honda Civic. In my case, I want a 2004 F-150 4X4 Supercab but can only afford my 98 F-150 2X4 V6. If there anything old is how geeks here are detach form everyday reality of survival and how Macintosh fanatic seem to get their self worth for their computers in order make up some perceived inferiorities.

To me the everyday Joe and the CEO is going to look at what the computer does rather that it not a Windows box and balance price and function. For me it clearly more cost effective for things I need such as word processing and web design to go with a cheapest windows box.
