I would bet that many might not share you overly myopic anti OSS
view.(especially if they could compare them directly)And a lot of casual users would find Linux/Linspire/etc. Can do anything that Windows can do without the negative issues with Windows. (they sell same/similar systems w/Windows for $100 more)

And if sales goes well other OEMs & retailer will want to get in on the action.
