Two thumbs up for lifetime subs
I got my Sony Tivo in 2000 paid $200 for a lifetime subscription.

It's been upgraded with an ethernet card (www.9thtee.com) a much larger hard drive (www.weaknees.com) and I'm still about $300 better off than I would be if I paid month to month.
