I believe that lowering the monthly subscription is the critical step. I would love to have the technology in my home, but I am unwilling to $156 per year on top of the $200 purchase price to have it. Like lower taxes tend to spur the economy, I think lowering the subscription rate, especially if publicised properly, would spur growth in the adoption rate.
