Given how many problems I've had with their gear in the past decade (from portables to phones to TVs to clock radios to ES audio; though my original PS2 has held up well), I don't think Sony deserves to be cut ANY slack.
But Super Mario DOES need some serious competition, even if it seems the first PSP appears to be STILL premature for prime time. And this was the device Sony was initially promising LAST Christmas?
