And yet, from the article we learn that Sony helped develop the
chip:

"That is the pledge of one of the chief architects of the Cell,
jointly developed by IBM, Sony and Toshiba... ."

How is it, then, that Microsoft announced that they were using
Cell before Sony even thought of it, when Sony is one of the
chip's designers? Is that anything like how Bill Gates added a
chapter to "The Road Ahead" prognosticating about the future of
the internet after his book had long been in print, and the
internet was already wildly popular? You must be one of them
there "revisionist historians."
