Perhaps in means the greater the debt the greater
the RISK you become or something to that effect.

However I think that is true. Now the reason the current
administration is not worried about this is simple. Most of them
do not think that the world as we know it will be around that
much longer. So why worry about silly things like Debt,
environment, and one's own citizens? All will be taken carred of
by a far greater power.
