Very true....

IF computer games affected kids minds then everyone that grew up around nintendo and such would be out on the streets slaying people with swards and whatnot. I think it's the option of the parents to purchase these games if they see fit, not someone to have to warn them about such games and try to sway peoples decisions based on this group ideals. Not everyone has the same mentality as that one kid in England who killed that one young buy with an axe, and claimed the game made him do it(i think it was an axe and i think it was in england, i remember reading it on here).

Not everyone should play these games, yes, but at the same point most people don't lack the common sense to notice that it's a game, nothing more. I think these groups should have their say, but at the same time, they shouldn't be trying to tell people what not to purchase because of something they don't see fit. People can make their own decisions most of the time. Take for example my mom buying my little sister the "Rage Against the Machine" cd when she was about 14. Mom let her play it in the convertible mustang until a certain phrase in one of the songs came on "f you i wont do what you tell me", at which point mom ejected the CD, and tossed it up and out the convertible because my sister "would not be listening to that trash". Parents can decide for themselves.
