Interestingly enough
We have 10 XP machines and 4 OS X machines. The XP
machines require a sysadmin, the OS X machines don't. I say
fire both the sysadmin AND XP.

When they are side-by-side and you see how OS X clearly
outperforms XP, it boggles my mind to see why people still think
small businesses like ours should invest in Windows. I have lost
two complete days of productivity and now, possibly all the data
of one of the sales staff, someone that used to work for Michael
Dell, by the way.

BTW, if he reported to me, he would be gone. If I ran the IT
budget, Windows would be banned. I am currently pushing to
try using Novell's Desktop Linux.

And we wouldn't need a sysadmin. The users could do it all
themselves. Hell, we wouldn't even need that stupid W2K server
that I have to reboot at least once per week and that suddenly
stopped sharing the HP printer to the Macs. F*****g crap that
server. If we were all Mac, we wouldn't need a server at all.

Then firing him should be your first order of business.  No_Ax_to_Grind | 11/22/04
