I agree
I have had my eye on LCD panels for a few years. My biggest complaint is that in order to get an LCD with fast response time and sharpness I have to pay a kings ransom compared to a comprable CRT. The new slim line flat screen CRT's will offer fast response, higher resolution, contrast ratio that puts LCD & Plasma to shame, & better color all at a much lower price. My biggest beef with CRT's are weight, power consumption (something Samsung seems to be concerned with) and EM transmission (arguable). I am at the point where I can by the low profile CRT without breaking the bank and wait until LCD comes up to snuff price/perforamnce wise.
