Bye, Bye, Tivo
Won't give you the features you want so bye, bye TiVo? Because they won't let you burn to a CDRW?
One DVD-RW is $5 for crying out loud. If you are going to erase it anyway, what is the difference? And, why would you need an R/W anyway, you have a TiVo that the program is on to begin with!

When you buy a TiVo, you have an option for service...$300 (equiv to 2 years programming) or $13 a month. When you buy a lifetime package, you know it is lifetime for THAT box. Just because they come out with something new, doesn't mean you should be able to transfer that fee to a new box.

Seems to me that you want something for nothing...you have no legitimate gripes about TiVo.

I'll bet ANYTHING that your PVR-250 box, all in all, costs more than a Humax DVD-R box with lifetime sub.
