Superior Hardware

The great thing about Xbox is that its faster and has great online features that far surpass the PS2. Also, they are getting most of the same titles that the PS2 has, except for GTA3 yet, with the new relationship with EA Sports Xbox is really setting itself up to succeed.

Gamers aren't don't have some great allegiance to any one console, they just want the best hardware and the biggest selection of titles. It will be interesting to see how the next generation consoles pan out and who takes the lead...I've heard Xbox will be the first one out, which would be a huge advantage.
