Until cable or satellite can get ondemand
to really be any movie at any time not just the few selections of the month, I'd do Netflix.

1. A number of ppl already don't like their cable provider, usually for installation, service and/or pricing reasons.

2. A number of ppl find that the last few years have not produced a number of movies that they currently would want to see, so you've got to dig back in time to find your hearts desire.

3. At least in my area, the outcome of on demand cable was a reduction in pay per view movie lineup, and if you're not subscribed to a particular movie channel package, you're hunting for movies you are not authorized to get unless you subscribe to that channel package.

The other rich thing about the dvd love affair, it takes a significant bit of change away from the music industry and its cds sales, whether they'd admit it or not, and that gives me some joy. Knocked down a bit by a competitive market, not just their piracy claims. Oh well, more bang for the buck.
