Ignorance is not seeing that PC's are better now

Try my Athlon machines and you'll see how fast you can get content-creation work done and still play all the games and get all the available peripherals. Mac users like their computers - I respect that. But these AthlonXP and Athlon64 machines are just plain good and they run windows like a dream. I have four XP machines and none of them have ever locked up. None of these boxes cost me more than $1500 to build and they stomp Macs in Photoshop and sound file rendering. Why would I pay so much more for a (albeit very nice) Mac that doesn't do more and has less software and peripheral availability? Is is no wonder Adobe has had to shift towards PC's? If Apple wasn't using AMD's HyperTransport the G5 wouldn't hang in ANY of the content creation benchmarks, and it's competitive in very few. No one that has a fast PC is drooling about Macs. Not when I can play Star Wars Battlefront and edit sound files nearly twice as fast as is possible on even a dual-proc Mac.
