Wishful thinking?
"Ed Swartz, Static's CEO, said in a statement that the 'courts have
spoken--companies cannot abuse copyright laws to create
electronic monopolies and take advantage of the citizens of this
great country.'"

Nonsense. Microsoft has been doing that for years. Why is it any
more objectionable when a smaller company does it? Does
Microsoft now also have a monopoly creating artificial
monopolies?

Either this ruling is going to have some serious implications for
Microsoft's business practices or there is one body of law for
Microsoft and another body of law for everybody else.
