Check this out...I just went to newegg.com and.......
I configured a system:
Black mini-tower case w/300W power supply
52xCD-RW drive (no floppy needed then)
256MB of DDR333 memory
PCChips AIO Motherboard (so onboard video,lan, etc)
40GB Hard drive
AMD Semperon 2400+ 333Mhz FSB processor w/fan

All for $243.47 after shipping. Throw Linux on there and you are all set. $6 less than this AMD system with more memory, larger hard drive, and is ready for broadband or incredibly cheap coroprate use.

How can they NOT make a sub-$249 PC if I can configure one from a online store cheaper?
Oh wait...they put Winblows on there...that would bring even this machine up to $400 *LOL*
