well defined contract that clearly states that it is Apple's
responsiblity since it makes the iPod and controls the
firmware of said to do what ever it takes to prevent
illegal use of music.

Now that is far different from what you claim I said.

Frankly I don't care about music downloads..don't even
own and iPod, nor as far as yet I don't plan on getting
one (however if I do ever get one it will be an iPod)

So as far as I'm concerned people can dow what they
want. However that does NOT mean that Apple should
live up to it's agreements nor that IF Apple fails to do
so Apple will have to pay a steep price so it is SILLY to
blaime Apple for this. (Silly a word you should be
farmiliar with there Vily)
