We'll if ppl really want to use Real's Harmony
they'll have to weigh whether Apple's updates/firmware upgrades are worth the (temporary) possible loss. There's always the choice for the user of not allowing Apple to perform the upgrade to their local software. I doubt Apple would force it, and anybody using and keeping track of Harmony would be thinking should I or shouldn't I read the fine print on updates.

As for hackers and skilled add-on makers, . . . Apple, your bright and shiny and they are gonna bite no matter. Even if you asked pretty please. And when you just say you're slamming the door shut on addons and hacks, we'll that isn't pretty please and you'll see the next hack right around the corner. Maybe you can go for mod friendly and hope your friends at the RIAA see that you have no liability for the actions of others outside your corporate doors.

What next, . . . said hackers working at Real, for a one two punch?
