Grassroots Marketing
I love my Sharp Zaurus ever since I purchased it over ebay a couple of months ago. I own the SL-5500 and although it is over 2 years old it is still leading edge.

I find it sad that Sharp is abandoning it's efforts to continue development for the Zaurus as I see huge potential for the device. As a suggestion maybe they should outsource the marketing of this device to a third party.

I own and operate a small business categoring to homes and small to medium sized businesses and would love to be able to sell the Zaurus. Although I have attempted to contact Sharp on a number of occasions, I have been unsuccessful.

The failure of the consumers to adopt the Linux operating systems boils down to education and understanding about Linux, how it works and all of the misinformation about it. The Qtopia environment on the Zaurus is very similar to Windows XP in it's look and easy to use. It's only maintaining and upgrading the device where the problems lie, however they is much pertinent information on the web.
