Its a Standard
Evolution is a standard analogy, and comparing a computer to the human brain is another. Man is smarter than other animals because he has THREE brains (left, right hemispheres and cerebellum - all about equal in size), and unlike SHICK, there is no four . . .

The brain itself has electrical and chemical reactions that influence 2 main types of nerves - neurons and glial cells (neurons use electrical impulses and glial cells use chemical). NOTE: Eintein's brain was shown to have normal numbers of neurons and quite a few extra glial cells. ANyhow, this means there is AT LEAST 4 different ways to connect "thoughts". This is why its so difficult to "figure out" how the brain works.

It may be impossible to simulate delicate chemical / electrical interactions in trying to achieve AI - even with exabyte storage capabilities.
