- HDTV is too expensive

Now put some TV shows that make use of HDTV and maybe you give me a reason to buy it. Come out with HD-DVD and then there is a reason. But watching plain jain TV on HD is really a waste of my money. Survior isn't anymore impressive on HDTV than on a regular TV. Same thing with Sports. All my DVDs are not HD though the HDTV would help the quality but not enough justify forking that kind of money.
