Also ironically, what you describe is easy to do with two discarded mini-
satellite dishes, two tin cans, some cables, solder, sewing needles, and two
wireless routers.
People who've tried it report connections up to 1,000 feet with no trouble.
I've got the mini-dishes, the tin cans, and I'm just trying to find a good
excuse.
