Private charities are exempt...
It is stoopid, but that is the way they wrote up the law. And those police people are ever-so rude when they call too. Try explaining to them you are busy. "What? you don't like the police?" they had the odasity to say. Of course, they attempted to call and be sure to be a bother for the next few days. Something they forgot to add in the law. The whole thing is screwed up... just like the CAN-SPAM stoopid law. The DMA are the ones writing the laws... the lawmakers are nothing but money-hungery scoundrels obligated to those kind of organizations....
