Is the data encrypted?
Okay, I'm probably paranoid, but if the data from the mouse/keyboard is not encrypted, then it would seem that it wouldn't be beyond reason to see spyware or a worm that 'reads' the digitized biometric data so that it can extract your cache of passwords from the software (I'm jumping to the assumption that the software itself encodes the password data in some way, so the biometric data would be required to get at it).
Anyone know? I've seen too many conveniences that sacrificed security to be willing to blindly accept that the biometric data is encoded.
