XBox Audience Down to 5M Fanboys After 5 Debacles

MS knows how to launch a product & services but then it's all just handed off to bureacrats in operations who are clueless about consumers.

With the amount of moeny and labor MS is spending on mailing a box, getting it and repairing it and mailing it is pretty much the cost of a new XBox.

If they had any brains they woudl just say, bring in your old Xbox and we'll give you a new one - not only will that placate 90% of users, average consumers sitting on the fence will recognize every Xbox in a store is V2 and okay to buy ... as it is now - NO ONE outside the ******** fanboys would risk $800 (console, controllers, games, plugs, live sub) on something that "might" work a day, a few weeks or a month. Would you buy a laser printer, a car or even a pen under such adverse conditions? No, and neither will 96% of average consumers. MS will have an audience of 5 million Halo players and no one else.

Because Ms thinks they are clever by avoiding a recall, a class action lawsuit, etc ... they have pretty much killed the Xbox as a consumer product.

MS blew it big time literally.

You have three cosnoles to pick from:

one that anyone can join in and play.

one with HD specs and top notch graphics.

one that might stop working at any time.

Which one will most people avoid buying?

Ms just signed up - we'd like to be 3rd in the console race ... 7th if you're counting handhelds ...
