Adds to the sales hype

Marketing strategies anymore are to talk up the product while purposely under stocking the item as it just adds to the perception. of ?value?

What sounds better:

a) ?We still have plenty of in stock, so take your time and come on in to get one?

b) ?We sold out our entire stock in a matter of hours! Better hurry in and reserve one right away or you'll miss out!
