Dell's questionable support
I have a good friend who had a Dell laptop that he purchased with the on-site service option. The motherboard began having issues, so he called Dell Support and they told him to send it to them for repair. It took several hours, and several supervisors, to get them to finally agree to honor their "on-site" service and send a technician.

The problem was fixed the next day when the tech arrived and verified the notebook was flaky and replaced the motherboard with a new one.

My friend now uses a different source for his company's laptops. It shouldn't take several hours on the phone to get a company to honor a service contract.
