- PC games set the direction
- Computer games set the direction for Console games. Consoles are about 5 years behind the PC. What you see for graphics and game play on the PC today will show up in consoles 5 years from now. It's the PC that pushes that hardware edge that consoles get designed on. With out PC games you don't have console games. The market willl stagnate if PC games disappear and we will watch games disappear. This won't happen though, too much money in PC games both from the hardware side and software side. Consoles have thier place but they don't compete with PC games. I play both. Console games are good and PC games are good. The ones that try to be both usually suck.
